Is NUC9i9 ghost canyon a valuable choice for music production?

Thu Oct 08, 2020 2:29 pm

I9-9980HK, 16/32 Gb DDR4 RAM, 1T SSD seems like a dream right? But is it really suitable for music production? I know music production its very single processing and multi heavy so this machine to me seems appropriate, even though i know its designed for gaming. I'm on Fl studio 20 and i use a lot Serum (synthetizer), Diva (really heavy synthetizer), tons of Waves and Fabfilter, and many more. My old Lenovo Z50-70 can kinda keep up with all this but not for many fl tracks, so i need to change.

Hope im not wasting your time with a dumb question hehe

Hey - should be great honestly, music production computers and gaming computers are similar except for the GPU part. Also if you are getting into music production, splice is worth it and has a free trial.

Seems like an awful waste of money to me.
