Best CPU for Gaming?

Tue Mar 02, 2021 4:18 am

Hello everyone,
I haven't spent much time playing games, that's why I don't have much knowledge about the best CPU. I want to know from all of you which CPU would be best for high-end games? I have made a list where some processors are listed, which would be the best option.
Please help me choose the best option and take care of a budget not to cost much.
Thank you

Yes.

Honestly, the difference between the platforms at gaming performance are pretty trivial unless you absolute want the best with no expense spared. Right now, 5950X holds that crown but upcoming 11900K may dispute that. That's assuming you can find them. They are nearly unobtanium (likely for 11900K at launch). Otherwise, 10700K and 5600X (assuming you can find one close to MSRP) are very solid deals without trashing the bank too much. 3600 and 10600K are very good choices for the next-tier down and only are a potential problem if you want consistent 240-300FPS on some titles that are CPU-limited. They will handle 100FPS+ just fine though provided you have a GPU that can drive it.
Gigabyte X670 AORUS-ELITE AX, Raphael 7950X, 2x16GiB of G.Skill TRIDENT DDR5-5600, Sapphire RX 6900XT, Seasonic GX-850 and Fractal Define 7 (W)
Ivy Bridge 3570K, 2x4GiB of G.Skill RIPSAW DDR3-1600, Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H, Corsair CX-750M V2, and PC-7B

If you are going to overclock , according to Gamers Nexus , the new I9-10980xe at 4.9ghz actually is at the top of some charts, surpassing even the 9900ks overclocked.

For high end gaming the best CPU would be AMD Ryzen 9 5900X it has more cores more clock. You can also overclock it but you have too keep in mind that while overclocking provide sufficient cooling with the best AIO cooler to achieve normal CPU temperature range otherwise it can cause damage to hardware components.
