Intel’s “big” announcement

The cynical side of my brain interprets this as intel announcing they will continue to be intel but now they’re going to maybe try harder.

The less cynical side of my brain says — yes, but that’s actually a big deal, if they really truly do try a lot harder.

Maybe they'll will start rolling heads in the marketing department and try to listen more to engineering teams. The 800-pound gorilla is just trying to come back up from a nasty sucker punch or two.

Or maybe the gorilla slipped on its own banana peel, somehow landed with its head stuck up its a$$, and then lost its territory to a bunch of chimps.

The plan now is — extract head and stand up.
