I just recently upgraded my little woman's PC to similar levels. But I went with a 1GHz Duron and suggest you consider it too. It'll be cheaper than a tbird, it'll run way cooler, and if you can unlock it and run it on a 266fsb it'll probably be faster (I was able to unlock the one I got with a pencil).
also, I don't recognize that video card. what chipset does it use?

The video card uses the SiS 315 chipset. Budget level card but with reviews putting it on par with a MX400 from what I've seen. And I'll keep the duron in mind.

I found some 1.13 Tbirds at NewEgg for 79.00. That was last week, but the price should still be the same.

ahh yes the SiS 315. I read a review of that somewhere. from what I can tell, it'd be worth it to pony up the extra $20 and get a MX400. or hell, GF2s are going for $65 now. Radeon 8500s and Ti200s are down to ~$155. I guess once you start inspecting you can easily find yourself on a slippery slope.
