Has anyone experience with Gigabyte's dual athlon offering, the GA-7DPXDW at ... oductID=25 - am I reading correctly that there is a Promise SCSI RAID 10 chip on-board and it's true ATX size? goodness.

I can't comment on this particular board, but I've had a very, very good run with Gigabyte boards (exception being the GA-5AX). I've built 30+ systems using them, and would pick Gigabyte over Abit for my own systems.

The Gigabyte board does look like a winner. Note that it has Promise IDE RAID, not SCSI.

If you're in the market for an MPX board, the Gigabyte and Epox both look good. However, the trusty Tiger MP seems like a bargain these days.

I think the tiger is not even worth a look, personally I have had very poor experiences with gigabyte, although I have never used the boards in question. I would wait and see what some of the competition has to offer in the near future...
