Pi book for kids

Thu Jan 04, 2018 6:45 pm

My kid wants to learn some programming because she has seen me write PowerShell scripts and seems interested in learning how to do some cool stuff with our Pi. She has seen some cool Pi stuff on YouTube. I'm targeting what I would consider a 7 year old in capability. Does anyone have any suggestions beyond going to B&N?

I didn't like being"that gerbil" but does anyone have any advice on bills that teach coding using a Raspberry Pi? The little one is bugging me again.

I'm guessing that you'll probably find better (and free) stuff online. I suspect that a lot of the dead tree books are crap which was rushed to press to cash in on the Pi craze.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Maybe someone has a link to something they have used? Maybe a YouTube series? I'm willing to pay for quality content that will engage my child.
