Which Author Book is Best for C++

Wed Oct 07, 2020 1:34 am

Hello Everyone, I am looking for an online C++ book and I have 10 months experience in this programming and explore more things in it. Can anyone knows top author book name? I have checked on amazon and google but I am confused to choose the right one.

There are so many it really depends on how you're planning to use it.

I would immediately throw anything that starts with a base in C and extends from there in the garbage pile. C++ has moved away from C-style programming a long time ago. It is even evolving away from pure OOP in the last few years to something more declarative.

So the O'Reilly suggestion is a good one. In a more general sense, prefer a modern book over a classic.

FWIW C++ has evolved quite rapidly over the past decade; you really want to make sure you get a RECENT book.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
