I guess this would be the best place to post it, if its out of place, please move it, sorry!

I'm having problems with my adobe photoshop. The image i have, im trying to cut the background out of it. Done, no problem. But no matter what do when i save it, it appears on the webpage with that damned annoying white box around it, the page is black. Any ideas?

I tried the adobe help manual and did everything relative to "transparancy, backgrounds" and along those lines, and adobe's site isn't much help either.

I know the background can be removed entirely so that ONLY the image is showing and saved and displayed as well, i have done it, i CANT remember what i did! Its driving me nuts, someone calm this gerbil down with some sound advice!!! HELP

My own idiocy got in my way this time. I was doing everything correctly, but i was saving as a jpeg... it has to be a GIF to have the 100% tranparency after the save. Bah sorry to waste space.... :(
