Need Replacement power supply for Shuttle SK83G

Wed Apr 06, 2005 6:24 pm

Hi folks!

I have a shuttle XPC SK83G with a bad power supply. Where do I find a replacement? I can't seem to find any through Google.

I have to believe there are others who need the same thing somewhere.

Can you put the 250W SilentX in that case? If not, there are several PSU's on the "shuttle store" on Ebay.

No the SilentX (PC40) PS is not compatible with the SK83G - it says it in the details on their website.

That Ebay site had the exact same PS model - the PC40. It doesn't fit. That's the only one I've seen. Can't seem to find any other power supplies for shuttle.

You might try http://www.sfftech.com/. They have a Buy/Sell Topic in their forums and the folks over there were very cordial back when I was trying to find a replacement for my SN41G2 motherboard.

Final Update.

I ordered a replacement power supply directly from Shuttle USA. They said that is the only way to get one - directly from them. My model was $45 plus shipping.

For those of you who need parts that are not available otherwise, go to us.shuttle.com and click on the "Buy XPC Accessories on Ebay" link. Then click on the order by FAX link. The order form has the phone number. I talked to a guy named Sonic.

The folks at sfftech.com forums pointed me in the right direction.

Good Luck all!

Good info. Glad to hear you got it resolved (well, as soon as the parts arrive).
