thing is, when its on the floor, 1) altough it has a base to keep it steady, it is light so it is easily tipped over, 2) the CD drive is sideways which makes it awkward to put in a CD because i am always afraid the little tabs there will screw up the CD, 3) its easier to reach the floppy/CD, 4) there is a space under the monitor in which it'll fit (it is not directly under the monitor)
but having it on the floor does have its benefits: where it is now I have to disconnect all the connections before i can pull it out and put it on the table/floor to open it up.
this Dell case is not bad in another way, too: you push in 2 buttons on the side, and open it. no tools, no twisting screws or knobs or keys, etc.
Silverstone SG06: 2500K@stock, GTX 670, a 3TB HDD I ripped out of an enclosure and crammed in there upside down, 2x120GB SSDs, and the cover can still fit on it but I leave it off so the hard drive can breathe
