I'm about ready to chuck my sound bar across the room!
Model - Energy (Klipsch) Sound Bar Elite connected via optical cable (~3')
Problem - It makes this annoying quiet beeping noise. Have used it on two TVs now. An older LG and my new Samsung Q6. Doesn't matter what input source I'm using, it even does it with the TV(s) powered off (soundbar goes to sleep after x amount of time with no input).
Sometimes pulling the power plug on the soundbar and reconnecting fixes the issue, but not permanently for the remainder of that session. It typically comes back after a random amount of time.
Power chord has a ferrite choke right at the end that plugs into the sound bar.

The only remotely useful bit of information I came across in a cursory web search was someone stating they had a similar issue that stemmed from a faulty optical cable. Any chance you can swap a different one in for diagnosis?

hmmm...sounds a little faintly like the command deck of the Starship Enterprise..

It is odd since there are different tones of beeps. Is it Bluetooth enabled, maybe picking up something wireless?

So we've got a high pitch beep, then a lower pitched one...sounds like a call and response to me. Like the system is trying to reconnect or adjust something, and the beeps are indicating the status.

Checking the optical cable might be a step, and going with the analog inputs might be another. If those get ruled out, maybe try moving the subwoofer closer.

I am purely basing this off my gut. I tried Google as well. Found an Amazon review of the same product where a purchaser had the same issue, but no definitive answer or troubleshooting guide. Maybe Klipsch will help you if you open a ticket?

I'm not here to help (unless you have a faulty optical cable ). I'm just here to mention that I have the sound base version and don't hear that noise. I replaced it with a similar Yamaha due to sound quality on voice and music, but it was connected by optical most of the time. Sometimes RCA, also fine, and rarely Bluetooth, which obviously sucked.

The sound clip played just fine for me in Chrome, on a Windows 10 laptop. I could hear the clicks on laptop speakers at 100%. Very odd noises - I guess we can't rule out the source til we rule out the cable, or the device. i do have one very thin optical cable, I believe it came with the Yamaha sound base, and it sucks. Some devices won't even play sound through that thinner-than-spaghetti cable. I got another cable that's udon thick, and it's never failed.

I had considered a new optical cable, but since the beeping sound happened even without a signal coming from my TV (TV powered off), I thought the optical cable could be ruled out. $7 is a cheap test though. I'll try that and report back.

Those type of beeps would be coming from the built-in logic in the soundbar, not something it's picking up as interference. Any firmware updates available?
