What I am looking for is a good program to "organize" my music into the correct genre/date/album/artist/etc. Thing is some of (most of) my music is pretty well organized ti's just a little out of whack. Anything you guys recommend to get tags right that will display as verbatim as possible in all music players? My default music player is Foobar2k.

System specs: Windows 7 Pro x64

I've been using mp3 Tag Studio for years now without a hitch. Yes it's old, but it works just fine.

I've been using MP3tag (similar sounding name as above, but not the same) for a few years. I've tested it on Zune, WMP, iTunes, and foobar2000 and they all seem to display properly. It's updated fairly frequently, and it works on Windows 7 Pro x64.

My suggestion is to use one of the musicbrainz programs http://musicbrainz.org/ They identify songs based on the music and then automatically fill in and organize the songs. Its pretty reliable at automatically figuring out what a song is and where it doesn't think it has an accurate fit it gives you an easy way to choose the correct song and metadata. There are two program options mp3 magic tagger and picard. I have only used picard but should both do a good job of filling in your metadata. Good luck tagging everything.

Don't forget Mediamonkey. It's a great player but most importantly works very well to tag and organize your music.
