I have a brother printer and am trying to print a pre-printed envelope that is an adobe file. When I do, the entire front of the envelope is covered with black ink-- so that you can't see any writing.  Any idea why it is doing this?  Or how to fix it?  I am using a mac if that makes a difference.

I think that if you want input, it would help to include some more info starting with at least the below:

• format of the file
• software being used, including version
• OS used, including version
• printer model
• printer driver details

otherwise, people have nothing to go on.

Yup all that and does this work on another printer and if so what make and model it is.
I.E. if this works on an HP laserjet using PostScript that would be good to know.
