If you buy a desktop PC with a separate monitor, when a component fails, you can swap it out with a standard off-the-shelf new component that may be an upgrade. If you buy an all-in-one PC, when a single component fails, the whole PC is junk, including the expensive monitor that would otherwise have lasted more than a decade. I am certain that the desktop PC plus separate monitor has a lower total cost of ownership over the full lifetime of the hardware.
Of the desktop models listed on the Dell website today, only the Inspiron 5675 Gaming Desktop currently features a RyZen processor. It shows as available on June 13, so you'll have to wait another couple of weeks to see it.
