Wireless Adapter CPU Bench-marking

Sun Jan 06, 2019 2:54 am

Will be upgrading soon and will have to decide on a new CPU.

There are several tools/sites that offer performance bench-marking for normal gaming and VR, but I have not seen any numbers that indicate the impact of the additional CPU overhead of the Vive Wireless Adapter.

I don't have any specific knowledge, but I assume near 0 CPU impact. Why would a wireless adapter need CPU?

That’s my assumption as well. I do remember the day when cpu overhead was something like 30% for USB 1.0.
