I need an MP3 Player+Digital Voice Recorder for class HELP!

Sat Dec 25, 2004 12:25 pm

I got an Olympus 32MB digital voice recorder and 32MB isn't a whole lot of space for class (4 hours at the highest compression), plus it keeps locking my computer up. (It's USB, I have no other problems with USB, I've got a mouse/keyboard/digital camera w/ no problems)

Anyways. Can someone recommend me a good MP3 player that will also do voice recordings? The recordigns don't have to be in MP3 format, as I can always convert that over, but it would sure be nice.

Any recommendations?

My PDA will do both. Plus a 100 other useful things. It's a Dell Axim X5 and with the 2 memory slots you can add a ton of storage for MP3's. You could either pick up a new PDA or get a cheaper one from EBay.

I read a review on the iRiver and everyone said that it's a novelty feature at best.

Soooo.. I decided I'm just going to buy a dedicated digital recorder, one of Sony's.
