Power supply substitution question

Mon Mar 21, 2005 8:35 am

I have an old IBM M Pro Intellistation computer with an API 7506 Level 3 power supply. I cannot find the same power supply and was wondering if I could use a substitution power supply. If so what specs are important to look at? The API 7506 power supply is 330watts.

Thank you,
Irv

I would first check and make sure it has a standard ATX style plug first. If that is good, then you should not have a problem swiching it for something else, just make sure that the rails are similar or more in rating.
