i have a 3 years old pc with a via p4m266 mobo and a p4 1.7 ghz proc and 250 watts psu.i was just loading a game(postal 2) whem my pc just died on me. ittotally switchedoff and now, it wont start again. even the led on the front wont glow and the fans wont spin up. i opened up the case and found the power supply box really hot. even after cooling, it wont start. i even tried removing and reinstalling some pins on the board(pwr sw, pwr led etc). also there was no noticeable power surge at that timecoz thetv was running alongside. even when i put my monitor plug in, there cums some sort of sounf. and my rubber in c.p.u has a bad odour .any idea wht could be wrong???
