I saw this story on the Inquirer.

I have four sticks (two matched pairs) of KHX3200K2/512 memory, and I think this may be what the article is referring to. The timings of 2-2-2-6-1 are identical.

I knew the specific model had been discontinued, but is it really considered rare - i.e., valuable?

I think they're just super-fast and very overclockable. You could probably sell 'em, but why not push 'em to the edge yourself?
