How about monitor?

I'd go with something like the TR Econobox. If gaming is important, you can use the money you save on case, dvd, & psu to get a cheap model 8600GT.

I already have the monitor.
Right now I have a 6600gt video card so I would like to upgrade from that and I do def want at least 2 gig of memory. I mean if i have to hold out for the second gig stick till i get more money i will i would rather ddr2

Ok, check this out. $500 for everything you need including 2gb of ram.

What to do with the extra moneys is up to you. I'd add a better / quieter heatsink myself. The passive vid card plus a zalman or whatever heatsink would make a whisper quiet machine (assuming your existing case & psu aren't noisy).

Or you could move up to ddr2 800 ram for about $25 more. Other options: real soundcard, 500gb HD, etc
