In the 3DMark Performance benchmark, the AMD Radeon RX 480 posted a score of P-14 461 points, which is pretty much identical to the average score managed by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. It is also only marginally behind the much more expensive Radeon R9 Fury in the same benchmark, which does speak volumes about the kind of performance on offer for just $199. However, do keep in mind that the $199 price applies to the 4GB variant of the card and not the 8GB variant that has been spotted on the Futuremark database.
