GTX 1050Ti launching at $139 MSRP

Mon Oct 17, 2016 3:59 pm

Looks like there's a leak confirming the official MSRPs of the GTX-1050Ti and regular 1050: http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/matthew-wilson/gtx-1050ti-specs-and-pricing-confirmed-in-presentation-leak/

So the GTX-1050Ti is coming in at $139 and given its performance level that's a pretty good price considering there are "premium" Rx-460 parts going for almost that much. Apparently the GTX-1050Ti's launch price is $20 less than what Nvidia charged for the GTX 950 when it was new.

The regular GTX-1050, which is probably a more 1-1 competitor to the GTX 460 is coming in at $109, which should put it in close price parity to all but the most basic of the Rx 460 parts.
4770K @ 4.7 GHz; 32GB DDR3-2133; Officially RX-560... that's right AMD you shills!; 512GB 840 Pro (2x); Fractal Define XL-R2; NZXT Kraken-X60

Think you meant RX 460 in the last line.

If these prices wind up being accurate, then custom-cooled GTX 1050Ti could be $149 and that's a pretty sweet deal indeed. I think it'll make the RX 460 look a little slow and power-hungry by comparison.
I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
