The Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti is a good choice and you can move it over to your new system when you build it.

Welcome to the Tech Report!
CA$190 -10MIR Zotac GeForce GTX1050Ti 4GB seems to be the best that will fit within your CA$200 budget.  What graphics card are you using today?  What is the native resolution of your monitor?  Which games would you like to play?

After rebate it's $9 over your budget, but it's worth it (vs the 1050 Ti):

If you don't mine purchasing used then this is a particularly good value (assuming it sells for less than $200 Canadian):

Also consider this one (depending on how the dollar valuation changes for Canadians), it's an older generation card and about 8-10% slower than a GTX 1060, but still substantively faster than a 1050 Ti:

Dark Souls 3 appears to be rather demanding of graphics cards, but it has a 60 Hz cap.

Is the budget before or after tax? In most provinces the >10% sales tax is going to make your effective budget even smaller. Would be nice to know the tax rate and/or how stretchable that budget is, so we can factor in taxes.
The Model M is not for the faint of heart. You either like them or hate them.

Are you open to buying used? You can get your hands on a used GTX 970 for US$150 US$175 on /r/hardwareswap. I just bought one off there. Plenty of eager folks there right now looking to offload the result of upgrading to 10xx GPUs.
