New Monitor Problem.

Tue Dec 04, 2018 9:17 am

I returned my MSI MAG27CQ. It is probletic panel for me. I don't like IPS Glow or Blacklight Bleeding you either. So what you prefer for healthy panel. I dont want this again (return) it is weird panel come and return usually. And I don't like 27" it is huge for me. So, I need some advice and thank you.

- I usually watch netflix and films, and on BF I got new RX 580 8 GB with game bundle. I don't like curved. So?

Not sure, but I bought two of these in a sale here in Canada for 125 CAD each (tax included): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... n_LED.html
While they have an IPS 24" panel and only support up to 1920x1080 60Hz refresh rate, they are color accurate to me (100% sRGB out of the box) which makes a nice viewing experience, as they're advertised for content creation (or were advertised as such at the time). Don't get any back bleed from them and they feel nice overall mounted in a dual arm stand in my desk. They are quite restrained when you look at them too (there is this red stripe underneath) but it's more like an accent, unlike gaming monitors that scream "GAMING" everywhere.

If I would buy a new set of monitors, I would buy panels that have similar specs, but with a 2k res. I prefer color accuracy over higher refresh rate.

Hope this helps!

That's actually interesting, as I would think that the Asus one would be cheaper (the BF one states they cover 110% of sRGB vs the 100% sRGB of the ASUS one). My recommendation would be to go to an actual store, check at how it looks to you vs. price, and try to find an online e-tailer that would sell the monitor at a decent price. Like I said, I got the ASUS PA248Q on sale, so it may be something you may want to look out for as well.
