I'm looking to purchase a new graphics card. I'm currently stuck on choosing between a RTX 2070 non super or RTX 2070 Super for $140 more. They are both the same EVGA XC Ultra. Just wondering if the super version is worth the $140 over the non-super 2070 as the non-super 2070 prices have dropped a lot and are now cheaper than 2060 super.
Also I know EVGA makes good graphics card and their customer service is the best but I've been hearing mixed reviews on the RTX XC/XC Ultra models with the negative reviews saying that there there is a loud clicking sound everytime the fan stops and starts. Would like to know if this is a rather common problem on EVGA's RTX cards.
The GeForce RTX 2070
SUPER is a cut-down Tu102 rather than the Tu104 in the regular 2070. NVidia’s evil marketing geniuses sure do keep the product names as confusing as possible. Think of the 2070
SUPER as a discounted 2080 instead of a premium 2070. From that perspective, it looks like a better value. The lack of competition at the high end has allowed NVidia to push those prices into the stratosphere
