Graphics card 25% tax hike postponed

Mon Sep 23, 2019 2:25 pm ... -to-the-us

This is good news for anyone in the market for a graphics card who didn’t want an extra 25% in tax to go to Washington, DC.

Personally, I’m looking for my next GPU upgrade to be something faster than Radeon RX 5700XT, so I need to wait for bigger Navi or for NVidia’s 7nm Ampere to arrive next year. I’m still pleased that I might be able to buy a $500 graphics card without Washington adding another $125 to my cost.
