Some reasons I can think of:
- Fanboy
- Lower power/noise/GPU temperature
- Significant performance advantage in favorite game
- Optimized compute workload
But to me, not supporting DXR just makes the 5600 XT inferior and a bad buying decision.

As for what we'd recommend, we suggest GeForce RTX owners absolutely do drop the graphics settings down a notch to Medium in order to be able to enable ray tracing effects. From our experience with Control it is very much worth the hit to your frames per second in Remedy's Control.

No thanks to AMD's lack of hardware support giving game developers the pause. Why go to the trouble of implementing something that a sizeable portion of their audience won't be able to experience?
