In your review, how'd you guys run the Kulu Phsyx Demo with just a 8800GT? Just installed it myself and it requires a GT 260/280 card on the config screen (stuck on software right now..)

They had access to the unreleased drivers, I think.

Driver 177.83 with Physx 8.08.01 (just released today) - still no go though...

I'm actually wondering if in that TR Physx article they were running Kulu with Phsyx hardware enabled or was it simply CPU-Phsyx but the graphics card was a 8800GT?

According to the readme file that comes with the pack download....

But in the TR Phsyx article - were they able to running it with Physx-hardware enabled via 8800GT?

I'm running an 8800GT with PhysX 8.08.01 and driver 177.83. Great Kulu runs fine.

Did you open the PhysX control and select GPU acceleration? That's about the only think that I can think that might be mis-set.

Did you make sure that Physx acceleration was selected in the Kulu Configuration Menu? It shows CPU-only for me (still runs the demo but not WITH Physx acceleration).

Wow.. what a crappy demo, and I thought i could blow them up or something..

Nvidia apparently neglected to mention it in its reviewer's guide, but it looks like you guys are right and The Great Kulu does in fact require a GeForce GTX 200-series GPU for physics acceleration. That means I was incorrect and hardware physics acceleration was actually forced off during my testing. I've updated the article with a clarification.
