That little message before CMOS

Wed Apr 30, 2003 6:57 pm

Okay, I just switched from being a long time NVidia fan, and user, to ATI. I have installed my new 9700pro AIW and it seems to be working fine.

When I start my computer the screen is blank until my bios checks my ram. Is this just how it is with ATI cards? When I was using my NVidia, and had it installed, I always got a little message before my system entered CMOS that told the name of the card and the amount of memory it had. I always knew all was well when I saw that message.....Now I feel a little stressed out everytime I start up and only see black as my computer is booting to CMOS.

Is there something I missed in the install?
Probably PUI. Definitely an كافر
