MS Office 2013 vs Office 365

Wed Jul 31, 2013 9:02 pm

Which version of the NEW MS Office is most worthwhile getting these days? I know I will need a newer PC (or a Mac) to use the newest Office instead of Office 2007, but it looks like it may well be necessary for a few courses I will take either in a few weeks or in January.

If you have work for a company/have access to the Home Use Program ("HUP"), you can get a download/DVD for Office 2013 for something like $15-$24. Otherwise, I think the best price-point is Office 360; 5 seats for $99 annual the last time I checked.

I believe Office 360 and Office 2013 are the same thing; the former is a subscription and the latter is a physical download.
