Is anyone playing a fantasy league for the upcoming season? Yahoo usually works the best

If Ned starts one up I would be willing to join. But I know Ned has a lot of leagues.

And I loathe the NBA. Anyone else who wants to start one is welcome.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

I joined a free yahoo league. Good thing I don't put money on these types of things as I don't know what I'm doing. I ended up with the "aging superstars" squad with Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade. Wade has been doing adequate but Kobe is not even playing that much. Looks like he may be nearing his retirement date.

For younger ones I have Jimmy Butler - he has had some good games but is inconsistent.

And my team always loses on 3 points made. I didn't plan well for that.

Its amazing what he can do...but I really don't want them to break the Bull's record. Looking like they will though.

So 2 records are on the line in the last few games of the regular season. The Spurs can go perfect 41-0 at home if they win 2 more games. They have the Golden State Warriors at home on Sunday, and OKC Thunder on Tuesday. Both should be hard games.

The next record coincides with above. Shockingly, the Warriors have dropped a couple games lately to the Celtics and the Timberwolves at home. (Which stopped them from also shooting for perfect from home)

Breaking the Bulls record of 72 wins looks a lot more difficult now. They need to run the table in the last 4 games and beat the Spurs twice and Memphis Grizzlies twice. I am not thinking it can happen now but that Spurs home game should really be something. They could be the 2nd team to get 70 wins if they don't tie or break the Bulls' record.

Stephon Curry is likely the greatest 3-point shooter who has lived to date. I have never seen someone shoot the way he does. He has ridiculous range and an absurdly quick release. I was rooting for the Spurs but can't take any credit from GSW.

I'm also wondering if any old-timers are retiring after this year besides Kobe Bryant. Tim Duncan is a shadow of his former self. Kevin Garnett has hardly been playing this season.

This Year if Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love will not suffer from any bad injuries on the Finals, Lebron will get his new Ring for sure. Too Bad Spurs lost the fight from GSW. :(

Tim Duncan retired. One of the all-time greats for sure!

He, Kareem, and Robert Parish are the only players with 1000 wins or more in the regular season.

I remember when Greg Popovich took over for some reason I didn't think he would be a good coach. Boy was I wrong.

In my world, a strong case can be made for him to be #2 of all time, behind Magic.

I enjoyed the All Star game. Yes, there was no defense. But still was fun to watch the points pouring in. And Wilt's record from 1962 finally fell.

His 100 pts is probably untouchable :)
