Fantasy Football weekly sit 'em / start 'em thread

Thu Sep 08, 2016 6:54 am

We have league-specific threads but I thought it'd be fun to have a place to post your internal struggles and get feedback/trashtalk.

I'm in a 1 PPR 14 man league. 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1TE, 1Flex, 1D, no Kickers.

This week I have Palmer at home against NE, or Tyrod Taylor away at Baltimore. My gut is telling me not to overthink it and stick with Palmer but he stunk in the pre-season, and his last games last year were awful too, lots of picks. Conversely, Taylor is a great fantasy value because of his mobility and athleticism, and he's playing a really unremarkable raven's D.

Second, I have my flex slot for either Jordan Mathews or Michael Crabtree. Mathews is the clear #1 WR on a team with a rookie QB in Wentz at QB, but is playing at home against CLE. Crabtree is not a #1 guy but he finished pretty well last year and has a decent QB who came on strong last year in Carr who likes to heave it.

I'd go with Crabtree and Palmer... New England's D looks bad and Palmer can put together huge games..
