McLaren have announced that they'll be switching engine suppliers again at the end of the 2020 season.
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/seid ... n/4549371/
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/merc ... l/4549499/

Since current regulations allow an engine supplier to support three two-car teams and Mercedes already has long-term contracts in place with Williams and Racing Point, Mercedes will have to get approval from the FIA to supply a 4th team.

Too bad they can't go back to the iconic Marlboro livery.

A little bit of rain to let the driver's skill take precedence over the car's aerodynamics would be good. A super-typhoon is a bit too much.

Race day is expected to be dry, so we're not going to be treated to a repeat of Max Verstappen's brilliant 2016 race at a rainy Interlagos.

Max takes the pole in the dry, anyway:

There's still no word on if Nicholas Latifi or someone else will be piloting the second Williams next year, but surely there's someone available (e.g.: The Hulk) that could get closer than half a second behind George Russell's qualifying time.

Vettel's usual: If the other driver is faster, just run into him, even if the other car is the same color as yours. Maybe we can get Seb a job in NASCAR.

2019 Brazilian Grand Prix Results

13 Romain Grosjean, Haas / Ferrari
14 Alexander Albon, Red Bull / Honda
15 Nico Hülkenberg, Renault
16 Robert Kubica, Williams / Mercedes
DNF Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari - collided with Leclerc
DNF Charles Leclerc, Ferrari - collided with Vettel
DNF Lance Stroll, Racing Point / Mercedes - hit debris from Vettel/Leclerc wreck
DNF Vatteri Bottas, Mercedes - engine failure

Although it had to be a bitter disappointment for Alexander Albon when Lewis Hamilton punted his Red Bull out of second place, that incident moved Pierre Gasly up to second place for the third ever podium finish in Toro Rosso team history. The young man has made a remarkable recovery in form since being demoted from Red Bull. Way back in 2008, Sebastian Vettel won a race in the rain for Toro Rosso. Daniil Kvyat's 3rd place in the rain in Germany this year was the team's only other podium finish, even going back to their 1985-2005 incarnation as Minardi.
