He was unhappy and we won the super bowl without him. Kevin Boss did a very good job, and the giants have gotten away from emphasizing the TE in the offense anyway.
Strahan will missed far more.

It'll be interesting to see how he does with Drew Brees. I wonder if he'll be a big part of the offense and help or hurt Colston's numbers.

They've needed another legit target besides Colston, and Shockey is a good, if vocal, target. I'd imagine he would fill a role similar to the one that Welker fills for the Patriots. Should make for an interesting addition.
