Nice, post links about the conference. So OSU goes 10-3, 11-2, 12-1, and 10-2 the last 4 years and they supposedly suck. Aren't you guys setting your standards a little high? I'm sure everyone else's favorite teams have had records much better than that and that's why they can claim OSU "sucks". I was a fan through the John Cooper years, I know what sucks looks like and this is definitely not it.

you spouted some nonsense about Ohio St begin better than Florida based on ancient history. We're just showing that recent history shows Ohio St is not as good.

i dont think Ohio St sucks in the normal sense .. I just think they're overrated year after year because the entire Big 10 is overrated year after year. Just look at the bowl record this year for the conference.

Conference Bowl Records

ACC 4-6
SEC  5-2
Big 12  4-2
Big Ten  1-6
Big East  4-2
Conference USA  4-2
Pac-10  5-0
Mountain West  3-2
WAC 1-4
MAC 0-5
Independents 1-1
Sun Belt 1-1

As an overall program, there's no question that OSU is better, or I should say more accomplished. Just like the Yankees are the most successful ever in baseball, you can't ignore a team's history just to suit the present day perception of them. They made a big deal during the Fiesta Bowl about the winningest programs in college football history, with Michigan, Texas, OSU being in the top five. That's all irrelevant just because OSU lost the previous two BCS championships? How about Oklahoma now? They've now gone 1-3 in title games, do they now suck the worst of any large program?

Anyways, congratulations to Florida for winning tonight.

Nice game by Florida on both sides of the ball. Oklahoma's offense was just as good in Florida's, in my opinion, but Oklahoma's defense lost that game. Plain and simple. Congrats UF, you earned it.

Now I just hope that Tebow goes to the NFL so I can stop hearing about the second coming of Jesus Christ. Literally.

Go Gators! Been so long since I was at a game, but I can still hear that cheer loud and clear :)

what? The OK defense played its best game of the entire year.
their offense played badly. I question some of the play calling.. and a few of the decisions.

Bottom line was florida defense pressured and OK couldnt stand up.
I was impressed with the improvement in OK's line since the texas game though.

The game was actually fairly evenly matched. OK shot themselves in the foot a few times in the first half that could have possibly made the difference.

In a side note, it's ironic that the Big 12 north "sucked" all year.. but look at how we did in the bowl games compared to the south!
GO BIG 12 NORTH!!

GO HUSKERS! :D

Another unsatisfying finish. Florida takes it but it's kind of a hollow victory now.

Heh Heh. Good times.
The first half wasn't all that impressive for either team. I was kind of disappointed. Both QB's weren't hitting their targets right and the receivers weren't making the tough catches. I blame that on both defenses playing really well. I will say I was impressed with how well OU's defense played. Better than I anticipated. The did wear out in the 4th quarter though. Then we got to see Florida football at its best.

Go Gators!

after seeing the game last night, I think USC is probably the best team in the country.

perhaps USC could play Utah and then the winner of that game could play florida.

It was a good game to watch for 3 quarters.OU failed to capitalize on to many opportunities, but what else is there to expect from OU in a title game.Surprisingly OU's defense and special teams showed up but not the offense.Florida wins the BCS and title,do they deserve it?Yes in my opinion, however yet again this years BCS leaves questions as to who's really #1.

Its a totally flawed selection process..Look at Boise State last year and Utah this year. Records dont mean squat..they both proved they belonged. The only fair way is a playoff system but thats going to happen until the current tv contract runs out. So...more squawking for the next couple of years. Utah and SCal would be a good game. Im sure the Trojans would fall under the pressure
