Best halftime show ever. Had the volume cranked and was dancing around the room with my best air guitar windmills.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Pete Townshend is 64 years old, and he can still rock. Roger Daltry is a year older.

Yeah, I really liked it. I missed the very beginning, but I think all they played was from Tommy and the themes for the various CSI shows. I half-expected David Caruso to come up out of the stage when Daltry hit that big "YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" at the end.

Did you like the commercial with Reggie Bush posterizing the Dolphins' Gebril Wilson (from their game in October)?

Go saints!

I have never seen so many people cry over a team victory. This state is so happy right now.

Colts, you guys put up a great fight and Peyton Manning is a great quarterback. I would have been rooting for your team if you weren't playing the Saints.

Thank you for not calling them the Who. The Who died on September 7, 1978. I still love listening to Daltry & Townsend, but them minus Keith (and to a lesser extent Entwistle) is just....I dunno, missing something.

Peyton Manning is now 9-9 in the playoffs.

Heh, I should put that in my sig.

He pulled a "Brett Favre" to lose the game for the Colts.

Granted Porter is one fast defensive player.

Garrett Hartley should have gotten MVP

Part of me thought "The Who" sounded a bit rough. That part of me was very glad, because they were not lipsincing or using a software program to smooth out their sound.

Also if you are wondering why they chose the Who and not some newer band. It's because of douchebags like Kanye West and Justin Timberlake who ruin events like this trying to be controversial or some other stupid sh**.

Both my bosses are trying to tell me how all sports (college and professional) played in the USA are rigged by Las Vegas Casino owners.

Their proof? Because people lose money on sports bets in Las Vegas.

I literally cant stop laughing at them.

I really thought the half-time show was mediocre. It started off as god awful, but got better towards the end. Really the problem is that musically, you can't do much with a 10-12 minute timeslot. So you can opt to do one song in its full, or a medley off your songs (which is invariably what everyone does). For me, the medley approach just makes everything suck.

Townsend didn't seem to be in top form with his playing IMO. Daltry, well he is getting old so I don't expect his voice to be as good as it was when he was young. But that said, some songs suit him now better than others. Won't Get Fooled Again he can still perform remarkably well, Pinball Wizard and Baba O'Reily not so much.

I personally would have preferred if they had played Won't Get Fooled again in it's entirety, and thats it. But that is just my critique.

It appears as though in my drunken state last night I failed to fully submit the many posts I had to contribute to this thread. Somewhere between shaving my head into a fleur-de-lis, getting really drunk, watching the game, and running down the street barefoot waving my shirt over my head, I lost the ability to post correctly.

Although I don't remember what I was going to say verbatim, it was something to the effect of "WHO DAT?! wHO DAT!!11 GO SAINTS HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111111111 WE 1 SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!1"
