That 'Bama-LSU game was just awful. Considering they BOTH had a bye-week, you'd think the offensive staffs could have found some better ways to move the ball.

missed it because of a work event. But, if they're evenly matched with good defensive lines you would expect a low scoring game wouln't you?

Nebraska wasn't much of a suprise, although we could have won. I guess the suprise was how badly we played and lost.
Can't turn the ball over 3 times inside your own 30 and come out with a win, I guess. :)

I'd say this proves the need of the playoff even more. It seems to also prove that teams are all just horribly inconsistent this year. I thought it was only Nebraska that was so up and down.

The OSU loss was a heartbreaker. Iowa State should get lots of credit, but things were just not working Friday night.

Anyway, on to Bedlam and beating OU.

Go 'Hoos! Finally ranked!

*edit*
And thank you Chase Minnifield (and the defense in general). Sprinted down FSU's receiver to trip him on the 1. Made them take a field goal instead of a touchdown.
That and the best 37 seconds of UVa offensive football that will be ever seen. When we got the ball right after the 2 minute mark in the 4th quarter Rocco managed to move us down the field like never before.

Why does this look like a rematch between LSU and Bama for BCS Championship game, granted both need to win out for it to happen , but still, say it ain't so.

Gonna be interesting to see how this all shakes out, but if the Championship game is a rematch of LSU and 'Bama, I'd probably watch it.

Well, I just hope Urban doesn't RichRod us. I'm worried about him trying to run the Spread Option.

I was also skeptical of Urban Meyer's spread option offense in a big-time football conference. After he won his first national championship with it, I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt for the next few seasons.

A bit surprised to see a 8-4 FSU make the top 25. They only have one win against an opponent with a winning record (NCSU).
