What the heck is going on? Can't anyone get her to shut up? I'm trying to watch a freaking football game here.

Watch a mid-holidays-doldrum "bowl" game named after a pizza delivery company featuring a couple of forgettable teams with a combined 13-11 record, and then actually un-mute the sound and pay attention, you get what you deserve.

Eh, she's no worse than most of the guys announcing the baby-bowl games. The volume is partially obscured, anyway, by the sound of my laptop's DVD drive as I rip my mother's 100 CD's to mp3 so she can use her new Patriot Box Office.
Edit: if you want to hear a stereotypical, women-shouldn't-be-allowed-to-call-sports-events announcer, try Suzyn Waldman during Yankees broadcasts.

Same goes for Pam Ward. Not quite as annoying as Beth but almost.
You're telling me they can't find anyone who actually played football to announce games? Really?
