Hey again ! i am willing to upgrade to my lovely pc!
My current specs are :
i5-4460
8gb ram ddr3 1600mhz hyperx red series
gtx 960 2gb strix
mobo asrock fatal1ty z97x killer retail

Also my screen is 2k because i bought a new one some days ago!

for gaming purpose ! not hardcore but logic gaming!

Can you give some examples of "logic gaming" as well as what your budget is?

My suspicion is that an upgrade in hardware won't make a ton of difference, but you never know.

I would buy a graphics card to replace the GTX960.

The Haswell i5 you have is reasonably good, and to get a meaningful upgrade you would need to spend $650 on a CoffeeLake 6-core ($300), a Z370 board ($125), a new cooler ($50+), some hideously-overpriced DDR4 ($200). After spending that $675 or more, you're still only going to get a 30-50% performance increase in CPU-limited games - and most games are GPU limited.

Now is a truly terrible time to buy a graphics card, but a GTX 1060 3GB isn't quite as desirable for the cryptocurrency miners that are (largely) responsible for all the price-hikes on graphics cards. You can find them starting from about $250 and they'll give about a 50% performance boost over the GTX 960. You could also look for a used GTX980 on ebay/craigslist etc, which would be a better performer for the same money but obviously comes without the warranty of a new graphics card.

I'm making the assumption that you game at 1920x1080 or lower, since your GTX960 wouldn't stand a chance at higher resolutions than that in modern games anyway. If you have a high-resolution screen, the next obvious upgrade is a 1070Ti and you will struggle to find one at a sensible price

If you don't already have one, an SSD for OS and games is highly recommended (the MX500 seems to be the best option for your money right now) and I would consider throwing another stick of DDR3 into your PC, since DDR3 is cheap at the moment.

If by "logic gaming" you mean puzzle type games, your CPU, GPU, and RAM seem more than adequate already; upgrading them probably isn't going to make a noticeable difference.

If your system is still booting from a mechanical HDD, upgrade to a SSD.

Maybe get a nice mechanical keyboard if you don't already have one.

Mebbe some more Ram so you have 16gig but ram prices are not the best right now.

As previously mentioned graphics card prices suck right now so I would wait until thankgiving/x-mas and see what you can snag.

Before you buy anything, plug in your new monitor and play the games you play. Have FRAPS running with the fps overlay so you can see what your framerates are at various *reasonable detail settings (nobody NEEDS ultra settings, that's just e-peen). If the setup runs acceptably, use it until you can't get decent framerates at medium settings, hopefully thats at least a few months and GPU prices will have returned to normal.

There are plenty of obscure titles that are not typical "benchmark material." And the best test is to play the game you play on your current machine, then extrapolate a % increase (ie +50%) to predict what your framerate would be with a new GPU. You can look through one of TRs GPU reviews like this one (paying attention to resolution and detail settings in the first paragraph for each game) to get an idea of how GPUs stack up against popular AAA games.

Sometimes you have to connect some dots to reference back to your specific GPU. Here you can calibrate the 4GB GTX960 to current-gen stuff, and then get more baselines, etc etc. For example, from those articles, the RX470/570 is about 50% faster than the GTX960 (45fps on the GTX960 = 67fps on the RX470), and the GTX1070 is almost 70% faster than the RX470, so the GTX1070 is about 2.5x faster than the GTX960 (the GTX1070 would be around 113fps compared to 45fps on the GTX960).

Normally, it'd make the most sense to upgrade your GPU first, but now is a very bad time to get a brand new GPU, thanks to the infamous crypto miners. Now, it's up to you to decide. Shelling out a lot on a platform upgrade without upgrading the GPU is unlikely to justify spending all that money.

SSD, new GPU if you can find an affordable one, maybe more RAM if your memory usage is exceeding 6 or 7GB.
