I really can't say I need 16GB of RAM 99% of the time, but once my RMA of my 16GB from my original Ryzen box is finished I'll likely put it in this box and the 8 in the last one.

Though this mobo has weird heatsinks. Cool. I suspect the one is more to keep heat away from the M.2 card than get it off. I don't have the right screwdriver for that sink above the first slot right now though heh.

Still can't say what was up with the 1700. Mobo returned 'tested fine' and the RAM is working great in the 2600X so it's either still the mobo or the CPU I'd think. I'll have to fix that by Q3 since it was a great machine.
