How to Burnin Test the new rig?

Mon Jan 06, 2014 7:42 am

I built a new rig and before moving my files and work to the new system, i want to be sure that there isnt any defective hardware.

I know memtest for rams. And i heard Furmark for Graphics cards(tough i dont know if its safe to use it for long time , i remember some graphics card over heat and burn).

How can i do a burn in test and be sure?

You've got most of them right there, but you'll want Prime95 for CPU stability. Watch your temps with Prime95, it will heat up your CPU more than nearly anything you throw at it.
Fastfreak39: I feel like they should change the phrase "jumping on the band wagon" to "sailing on the pirate ship"
