16GB DDR4-2800 for $40

Tue Oct 04, 2016 9:11 am

Browsing "the egg" this morning I happened across this 2x8GB ADATA DDR4-2800 kit for $40 no promo codes, no MIRs, just straight up.  Seems like a crazy low price considering the rest of the market is in the mid $60s to low $70s.  Just thought I'd pass it along.

If I was thinking about moving up to Z170, two of that kit would make it a lot more attractive.
Behemoth - Plex server
Galactica - FreeNAS
Pegasus - R710 ESX host
fsociety - MBP 15
Rocinante - E5530 testing machine
Saratoga, Ticonderoga, BunkerHill - the Hydra desktop PC-thing.

Newegg fixed the pricing error <12 hours after I noticed and posted this thread.  Hopefully someone swooped in quick enough to get the deal of a lifetime though.

There have been a couple of instances where I've gotten "too good to be true" deals on Newegg, where I'm pretty sure the price was a typo. And yes, they do seem to fix those fairly quickly.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
