As great of a deal as it looks, the SLC cache issue is keeping me away.  I spent a few hours reading about it last night, for those who don't know:

The 256gb model has an SLC cache of 8.5gb and the 512gb model is 17.5gb.  Basically the drive is close to par (but still slower) with the Samsung 950 drives for the first 8.5 or 17.5gb of data writes.  After that they fall.....hard.  Performance tends to actually be worse than a standard SATA SSD once you've overrun the cache.

Depending on use case this may not be a problem, but I'm staying away.  It's sort of like the hybrid SSD/HDDs we've seen.  I tend to copy multi-gig folders of FLAC files between drives that could choke this.  Others report major issues when downloading and installing a large game from Steam.  Even as a boot drive, I'd hate for a major W10 update to crash and burn due to the cache overfill.

Almost pulled the trigger last night until I read up on it.  I bet we'll see the 950s drop in price quite a bit once the 960's are fully available and these 600ps will be completely overshadowed.
