1500R is amazing, but just eyeballing the curve it's still less than 3" of depth from the center to corner. If you're worried about depth I'd be more concerned with the enormous stand than the curve.
1900R isn't going to be much different.

I personally dislike curved monitors. If you're not gaming, something like the 34UM88 is a gorgeous flat panel for a few hundred less.
