$60 quad core

It's the Phenom 9850, but still... $60! For quad core. That just seems like a hot deal. :o

Too bad it is socket AM2; I decided a few months ago that any CPU upgrades I do on my AM2 systems are going to be AM3 processors (just ordered a Phenom II 955, in fact). That way I won't need to replace the CPUs again when I eventually migrate to new motherboards (and DDR3).

I agree that's a great price though -- makes it tempting even with no upgrade path.
