The Samsung 840 SSD uses a less expensive memory type than the 830. The write speed of the 840 is slower than the 830.

The code for the 120GB 840 Pro is EMCXWVR22 = $120
The code for the 120GB 840 is EMCXWVR34 = $80 (expires on 1/26 at midnight)

For $200 that is a pretty excellent deal on an 840 Pro. I popped for a Mushkin Sandforce-based drive right after Christmas for less, but the 840 Pro is a higher-end, supposedly more reliable drive, and the extra $$$ may be worthwhile.
