I still love Thermalright. After confirming several spec questions with them (they responded to me within six hours from Germany via e-mail, I was quite impressed), I took one of the greatest pieces of hardware I've ever purchased:
The Thermalright TRUE Black 120, manufacured in 2008, a six-pipe copper `sink (then nickel plated and black anodized), originally for Sockets LGA775 and AM2 (an updated mounting kit was released, which has served with every Intel socket since), and mounted it -on an i9-9900K. Using two Noctua Redux 1300rpm (3-pin, so always running at max speed). Thermalright told me the unit can dissipate a massive 240 watts, which was unheard of eleven years ago. I believe them. Running all eight cores at 4.7GHz, 100% CPU load, no core goes higher than 80C. I have used this unit on one Core 2 Duo, three Core 2 Quads, an i5(Sandy), two i7s(Sandy and Devil's Canyon, and now the i9. How can you not like that?
