Motherboard for Ryzen 5 5600X that supports W7

Thu Sep 30, 2021 3:54 pm

I build a new machine that is Ryzen 5 5600X based, but the motherboard vendor informed me that the motherboard does not support W7.
Does anyone know if there are any motherboard for Ryzen 5 5600X that supports W7?

"Supported" versus working are very different. That's said...run 10. There's zero reason to stick with 7 past EOL.
Victory requires no explanation. Defeat allows none.

I attempted to install W7 and found the keyboard and mouse were disabled(both usb). I complained to the vendor and they replied W7 is not supported.

It begins, once a major Windows ecosystem reaches official sunset. Hardware/software vendors use it an convenient way to upsell stuff as they no support aging hardware platforms.
