What mobo to buy?

Tue Dec 04, 2007 8:19 am

I'm going to buy a new rig end next month,
I want an AMD cpu (probably the 5000+) and the ATI 3870,
the rest is still a bit trubling me...
I was thinking about a BeQuiet psu(500Watt), corsair xms 2(2x1gb cl4), a samsung 500gb sata hdd, which I can buy here for about €600,-
But what mainboard should I buy (with upgradebility and price/performance in mind?
the shop I want to buy my rig has asus, gigabyte, msi and asrock mobos for the am2 platform.
my preference goes to asus,
I thought about the asus m2a32 deluxe with the nforce 590mcp, a board with the ati3200 or one of those new boards with the ati 790fx...
I dont want to pay more then 750 total for my new rig

any ideas?

thanks

Welcome to the forums.

You can ask mods to have you move a topic to a more appropriate forum, which the mods will do from time to time as well. ;)

Since you seem to want the question be asked in SBA, I have taken the liberty to "merge" (yeah, waiting for phpBB3!) your information in your SBA thread. Locking this one now.

For others, here is the link to the other thread.

Good luck.
