Is this targeting the same usage as HoloLens or is there more?
It would take you 2,363 continuous hours or 98 days,11 hours, and 35 minutes of gameplay to complete your Steam library.
In this time you could travel to Venus one time.

A combination of tracking, focus and movement of the eyes?

I think it was always intended to be more than Hololens, but the same basic technology.

Actually, google-glass is also augmented reality and there have been "fringe" devices around for a lot longer than that. It's just usually the resolution sucks, and most prior efforts haven't had real 3D modeling (just 2D "sheets" hanging in front of you), unlike the Everest topographical model in this video.

Note: the Vive also has this functionality, but really - who want's to see everything through video capture? The ideal augmented reality is VR imposed on reality, not the other-way around.

Maybe? Still, I interact a bit more with my world than moving my eyeballs around - and I'd expect the same of augmented reality (..as thankfully I'm not a mute quadriplegic).

Their demo (IMO) should have both voice and hand selections. Perhaps voice for most of the menu choices and using hands to rotate the models as desired. I might have even "thrown in" movement around the models (..like the paint program for the Vive), and perhaps the menus "following" the user by rotating horizontally on axis to face the user.
